These are two of my favorite tracks by Canadian electropo band Dragonette (besides the track in the 'Sorority Row' soundtrack). They were included in their sophomore album 'Fixin to Thrill', released last year, and although none of these tracks were even considered single material, it's something I like to listen to every once in a while.

Prior to changing their band name from 'Aly & AJ' to '78Violet', this pop duo released their sophomore album 'INSOMNIATIC', which brought them positive reception as a band. They released two singles, this one being the second. 'Like Whoa' was released back in 2007, but until this day I can't get enough of this track. I must admit though, personally I enjoyed the (Video Version) a bit more since it has a pop rock taste. So here you go, enjoy!

Once again she has left me amazed. Say what you want, I am proud to say I've always enjoyed her music and i stand by that opinion, only because many say they dislike her after the assault incident (which I don't get btw) yet... her album keeps topping the charts as the singles continue. But anyways, this time 'Te Amo' was chosen as the third international and fifth overall single from her fourth album RATED R. I'm also enjoying that look on her, she sort of went back to the 'Disturbia' era. Looking edgy as always. Anyways, the concept of the video was shockingly good, and French supermodel Laetitia Casta made it even better. RATED R is one of the best records she's released, she did well by experimenting and giving other genres a try with her own twist in em'. I loved it!

I'm completely in a state of SHOCK! Astonished! Okay so this is a cover of Lady GaGa's 'Dance In The Dark' by Meghan Elliot. I don't know much about this girl but she is amazing. The song itself has a whole different twist to it. Its more of a rock pop type of track. Her vocals complement the song perfectly. Check her out on iTunes to buy this track. It’s time for your daily dose of Electro. Here’s ‘Better Than Her’ by newcomer Matisse. Many have compared her voice as young Madonna’s, weird but true. This is more a pop electro track. Nobody knows her real name, just like the famous painter she refuses to give it away. She considers herself the type of artist that isn’t interested in being the next one-hit-wonder that is why she is taking slow steps into the music industry. She doesn’t want to be manipulated or turned into something she isn’t but instead be proud of her material. Now that’s what I can all artist.

Although I don't enjoy Ne-Yo's music as much as I wish I did, I must say this track is crazy good. It annoys me that every artist now in days is entering the pop dance phase, but when it comes to these types of tracks I remain quiet, only because this is a great production and I must give Ne-Yo props for composing his own material. This is called 'Beautiful Monster' and it was released today via myspace music, it will serve as the Grammy-winning singer's first single off of his fourth upcoming studio album 'Libra Scale'. Enjoy!

This isn't new but I’m sure you guys will love it (in case you haven't heard of them of course). 'Booty Luv' is an English dance group, which formed back in 2006. There are only two members in the group, Cherise Roberts, and Nadia Sheperd. They released their first studio album 'Boogie 2Nite' back in late 2007. It was extremely successful in the UK. They released one single every year from 2006-2009 from the same album. Here we have their latest single 'Say It' off of their upcoming sophomore album. I must say, their music is twisted and sick at the same time. The delicious synths, sweet beats, and sexy vocals. They've got it all. It has been confirmed that they're already looking for a 3 member for their upcoming album. Nice! =]

Glee's Christmas Plans
Hey Gleeks, so at this point we know that all these celebrity appearances are making the show reach new heights when it comes to pop culture. But who's next?
As of right now, it is rumored that Britain's Got Talent runner up 'Susan Boyle' will appear on the hit FOX series in a season 2 Christmas special. If so, get this... she will play the school's lunch lady. A few ideas of what could happen throughout that episode is that Kurt's character will give her a makeover. Nothing confirmed, but the ideas are being considered. The whole process was actually meant for Jennifer 'JLO' Lopez. She was in talks with the director but apparently there's a change with plans. According to Lopez, she's still hoping for a Glee guest spot sometime soon and 'she's willing to wait her turn', at least that's what she said when asked by Ellen Degeneres on her talk show. Oh, and there's plans for Glee to make an all christmas album.

Finally!!!!! The release date for her new studio album 'Joy' is June 15, 2010. With a few tracks and promos, she's ready to bring her usual unique music style to the scene. 'Ghost' will serve as her first official single, and i'm pretty sure it'll do great on the charts. It's a mix of sour tasty beats, catchy vocals and simple but meaningful lyrics. Now this is what i call a perfect 'Pop Song'! Enjoy! I know i am, maybe a little too much. It has a tiny resemblance with 'The Veronicas' don't you think? Either way, FeFe is her own persona... i'm not comparing.

Nothing is confirmed, but I'm confident that it will be. 'We'll Be Alright', doesn't sound like anything he's done before. I keep on falling deeply in love with his tracks. His first solo album 'Lazarus' is scheduled to be released by June 8, 2010. The artwork for the whole album itself is crazy cool.

Meet Nichya!
This isn’t new, but it’s something worth giving it a listen. This is a Russian band called ‘Nichya’, which consists of Elena Kiper (a writer, co-producer, and journalist), and Oleg (Russian musician and businessman). Kiper was first known in the music industry as the girl behind t.A.T.u.’s music. She wrote the tracks ‘All the things she said’, ‘Not Gonna Get Us’, ‘Chelovechki’, among others. As of 2004, they’ve officially obtained a name of their own due to the great success they’ve had as a duo. Here’s one of my favorite tracks from their 2007 sophomore album, it’s actually in English so enjoy!

So as most of you GaGa fanatics know, Lady GaGa performed this week at American Idol. The whole 'Alejandro' performance was shockingly great (sort of gave us an idea on how the music video will look like, and all i can say is... terrific!) but what really upset GaGa, was the fact that Idol cut the performance short. It was actually about 6 to 7 minutes long, but Idol edited it down to 5 mins. We may have a 'perfectionist' GaGa on the loose, but we agree. Besides, lately Idol has been interrupting DVR recordings of the 'Glee' series, so without a doubt all glee fans (including myself) are furious. They need to organize their timing. Personally I gave up on idol, they've already kicked out my favorites so ehh.

So I’ve talked about it a few times throughout these past couple of months, but here's the official trailer for the newest Sci-Fi Romance flick 'Beastly'. It features HSM's Vanessa Hudgens. I know ever since the (xxx) leaked photos, many people don't take her career seriously but C'mon people! The girl is alright at both singing and acting’, and personally I still find her extremely attractive. Anyways, this is film was based on a novel (wow what a shocker) *cough* NOT! Now in days, every film is, but I still find it a bit interesting. The plot seems a bit simple but it still looks pretty cool.

I sure hope she gets her shit (no offence) together and resume her position as an artist. I’m pretty sure with all these upcoming projects she has planned, she’s getting ready for a proper comeback. Although ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’ doesn’t have the potential to become a single, it certainly could be a great track to add to her upcoming album ‘Spirit In The Dark’. It's about damn time Parry returns! Today was the premiere of her first single 'California Gurls' featuring Snoop Dog-izzle LOL. Ready to release her sophomore summer album, which will drop... uhmm well this summer duh'. ((dummy moment)) HAHA. She’s taken inspiration from the 90's, artists like 'Ace of Base, Cindy Lauper, Etc'. This song has a certain expectancy to be the official 2010 summer anthem. Hmm, I don't know; personally I’ve heard better songs. It's not bad at all; I just don't think its summer smash hit material. We'll see, maybe I’ll learn to love it after a few listens. AAHHHHH! Wow, this is beyond incredible. I had been expecting a cool video for Girlicious' 'Maniac' but I didn't expect it to be this great. I know it's going to sound kind of harsh but Tiffanie leaving was the best thing that could've happened to this girl group. They went from an urban like style to pop gold material. The song is contagious, and the video itself has the quality of an international success. I can't wait for the song to spread worldwide. Hmm, okay so i have so much and nothing to say at the same time. First and foremost, the track itself is catchy and easily like-able. The video, well although it wasn't as great as i expected, it was pretty awesome. Definitely something different coming from Cyrus. I liked the whole 'bird in the cage' concept, it was extraordinary. The visual effects used fot the wings were shockingly awesome. The whole video overall is a bit britney-ish, i like it.

Recently the official DEMO for Lady GaGa's 'Telephone' track was released via web. This means no Beyonce and no auto-tune (except for the backup vocals of course). There's also a difference between the hardcore beat the original version has and this one. One last thing is, in some parts of the song the vocal notes sound way different.

Not long after they released their first album 'WANT' which brought them 2 hit singles. Electro Hop group 3OH!3 has returned with a new single. Getting ready to release their third studio album 'Streets Of Gold', "My First Kiss" was released today (05/03/10) through their website. The track will be digitally released tomorrow via iTunes and other media sources. I love the track, and I know many hate KE$HA but personally I’ve enjoyed listening to her music since her myspace days. It sounds like a future hit for 3OH!3. Okay, so in case you didn't know. GaGa's 'Telephone' song was first submitted as a demo for Britney Spears, but unfortunately it was turned down. Later on, GaGa decided to keep it as her own and release it but still had Britney Spears in mind to be featured. So later on, i guess she felt a bit butt-hurt and decided to take it back and give the part to Beyonce. Well the following demo just hit the web, and although many sources say it's fake it is said to be Britney's official 'Telephone' DEMO (personally i think it's fake, it sounds too cheap to even be considered a demo. We've already heard of many girls who've wanted to disguise their voice as Britney's during the past to gain popularity. Myah Marie for example has the exact same vocals as Britney, and for many months many thought her music was Spears'. Besides, if it was to be real... it sounds like something neither Britney or the label took serious).

Okay so honestly I don't know much from this girl group f(x)’s. A friend of mine sent it to me through facebook so I looked up a few websites to see what it was all about. The track is called 'NU ABO'
Apparently it's the official first single for their upcoming first mini-album, which is going to drop May 4th. The crazy thing is that as soon as I took the first listen, i couldn't help it but to find a shocking similarity to GaGa's 'TEETH'. ** No people, I didn't mean it literally; I'm talking about the song** LOL At least the instrumental sounds like it. Either way, it’s not bad at all. Although I do not understand a word they say, the music itself seems pretty sick. =]
Miranda Cosgrove's 'SPARKS FLY'
Miranda Cosgrove….. Hmm okay so to be honest and say that I never really liked her past singles for her Nickelodeon series iCarly. But throughout this weekend I got to listen to her full new album ‘Sparks Fly’ (which is already available btw) *cough* see, this is free promotion ppl LMAO. Anyways, I must admit the album impressed me in many different ways. I no longer see her as another pop trash artist, although her vocal range isn’t as good as I would hope; despite these things, she definitely shows she has talent as a singer. The album overall has a basic pop kind of vibe inside out (nothing new) but it's decent. The song that got me to listen to the full album in the first place was ‘Kissin U’. Not bad at all, it’s a ballad type of song; something worth listening. ‘There Will be Tears’ is the type of track that reminds me of THE VERONICAS. It has that type of music style, strange enough she actually sounds a bit like them too in this song LOL but what shocked me the most was the track ‘Disgusting’. I’ve had this track for almost 2 years but as unreleased KE$HA demo, and to hear Cosgrove sing it was a bit weird. Of course Miranda’s version has toned-down lyrics since she is aiming at a younger audience (you don't want kids listening to their favorite iCarly character singing about killing boys for love and using god's name in vain haha). *cough* Back to the music, personally I love both, even though KE$HA’s sounds a bit more auto-tuned and Cosgrove’s sounds a bit more teen girly pop.

Death to Hannah Montana...
So I was reading this article this morning, and the title itself catched my attention. 'Death to Hannah Montana'. Everyone knows about the Disney series... if not, have you been living under a rock? Anyways, so after watching her official new music video, critics went at it like crazy. How to describe it? Hmm, let's just put it this way. 'She doesn't give a damn about Disney anymore'! I mean, think about it... the show already at it's last season, she's worldwide known so she doesn't need help finding any recording label, and... Only thing Disney was doing is holding her back when it came to showing some skin. Personally... I'm super exited to see what kind of concepts she came up with. You know what that means No Disney = Semi-Nudity Allowed.
LOL Be ready, it will premiere this Tuesday 05/04/10.
