Resident Evil: Afterlife

AHH! I am super exited that the fourth installment is finally going to be here. I've been a fan of the Resident Evil Franchise since the first film starring Michelle Rodriguez (who by the way shouldn't have died in my opinion) was released. Way before the whole twilight-vampires mania, based on the video games by Capcom, Resident Evil was what most people were into. Not only did it take zombie flicks to a whole new level, but it brought them to worldwide popularity. Many photos have been leaked online from the set, but these 2 are official. The whole cast returned, Milla (RE1/2/3 & Ultraviolet) & Ali Larter (Heroes, Final Destination 1 & 2) being the protagonists at this point. It'll pick up where the last film left of, ready to take down the Umbrella Corporation. It was said that the 3rd film (Extinction) was to be the last, but after seeing that it received great reception among our generation, they decided to give it another shot. The official trailer for RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE will be released this weekend! <3>

Nicole Scherzinger 'Powers Out'

Nicole Scherzinger 'Powers Out'
Although her solo album plan hasn't worked out due to lack of popularity. Nicole Scherzinger (Lead Vocalist of the Pussycat Dolls) is still recording solo-tracks hoping to make a powerful record. "Power's Out" features American Grammy-nominated singer Sting. It's a nice ballad that i have to admit is not that bad. It hasn't been released as an official single but it has appeared on the latest REVLON commercials featuring actress Jessica Alba.

Lady GaGa 'Reloaded'

Lady GaGa 'Reloaded'
Here's one of the many unreleased GaGa songs that have leaked online throughout the years. This one was produced by Rodney Jerkins. Although it doesn't have the potential to have been a single, it should've at least made it to one of her albums don't you think? Enjoy!

Brown Eyed Girls 'Abracadabra'

'TO ME, MUSIC IS A WORLDWIDE LANGUAGE...'
A few days ago, a friend of mine introduced me to a few new pop groups I had never even heard of. This one in particular though, stood out in a shocking way. It's a South Korean pop group called 'Brown Eyed Girls' that consists of 4 girls. I've been listening to their third studio album 'Sound G' for a few days, but this song in particular I can't get tired of. This to me is what a perfect-pop song should be like. The beat is crazy, the sound is amazing! Here's 'Abracadabra' by Brown Eyed Girls.

Christina Aguilera SINGLE PREMIERE

The wait is over! Today was the day Christina Aguilera released the full version of her new single 'Not Myself Tonight' from her upcoming album 'BIONIC'. For months I have waited for this moment, and I am completely satisfied with what I hear so far. I agree when she said her new material would sound nothing like the old X-tina. The beat is amazing, the lyrics are creative, and are vocals are unbelievable. I love it!

Check the song out on Christina's official website

REWIND <<< 'Sarah Connor'

Sarah Connor 'Bounce'
Wow, this song is super old. Released in 2001, it served as Sarah's first lead single in the US. Sounds familiar? Well, as a matter of fact the track samples Mary J. Blige's song 'Family Affair'. Although the song itself had great success in the US, the whole album performed poorly due to lack of promotion. Sometimes it feels good giving old songs another spin, don't you think?

Shawn Desman

Shawn Desman 'Shook' ALTERNATE VERSION
Two versions were released for this track by Canadian singer Shawn Desman. I personally prefer this one since it's a bit more upbeat, the other one sounds more like an acoustic track. It was one of the many successful singles from his self-titled breakthrough album which dropped in 2002.

Shawn Desman 'SEXY"
Now this song is included in the 'HONEY' Motion Picture Soundtrack from back in 2003. The music video features actress Jessica Alba as the lead dancer.
It was an 'okay' movie by the way. =]

La Roux 'In For The Kill' Remix

La Roux 'In For The Kill (Le Castle Vania Remix)'
Another remix, can't get enough of this one! There's no words to explain how much I love it. It's the type of song that makes you want to stand up when you're all alone in the room and dance like crazy. Enjoy!

Lindsay Lohan 'I Live For The Day'

Lindsay Lohan 'I Live For The Day'
I really think this song deserved a chance to be chosen as a single. It may not be as catchy as the other pop trash she has released (not that I don't like it, cuz I do LOL), but this track is great. It's lyrics are meaningful, the band's music is awesome, and the way I can relate to this song is just insane. Out of her Sophomore Album. 'A Little More Personal :RAW', this is 'I Live For The Day' by LiLo.

Bastian Van Shield 'With Dust'

Bastian Van Shield 'With Dust'
This song was rumored to be Yulia Volkova's (t.A.T.u. member) leaked track off of
her future solo album featuring Lady GaGa, but it has been confirmed as false.
The song is by Bastian Van Shield, and it's called 'With Dust'.
What has been confirmed though is that in early 2009, Volkova laid down some
tracks with GaGa (before she turned into an icon).

This only makes me more anxious, I've been a fan of t.A.T.u. since they started.
The song itself is really good though, it's shocking how the girl's vocals are identical to Yulia's.

Alex C 'Du Bist So Porno'

Alex C feat. Yass 'Du Bist So Porno'

Okay i know this song isn't in english. It's actually in German, but it's one of those songs

that even though you don't understand what they're saying, it gets catchier and catchier. It brings out the party mood in you! haha

Chris Brown 'Captive'

Chris Brown 'Captive'

Before you say anything, this is an unreleased demo for the
Pussycat Dolls that leaked back in early 2009. That is why in the song Brown refers to a guy. I was seriously hoping PCD's label would consider it and appear in the 'Doll Domination' album but unfortunately it didn't.

'Fly On The Wall' (Digital Dog Remix)

Miley Cyrus 'Fly On The Wall (Digital Dog Remix)'
I never really liked the original version of this song but this remix is sick.

Lindsay Lohan Leaked Track

Wow, It's been a while since trashy LiLo returns to the music scene. Just a few days ago, 'Stuck' was leaked in the web. I'm not sure if it's going to be included in her upcoming 'Spirit In The Dark' album (I'm pretty sure it is). This version is probably just a demo though... at least it sounds like it. Either way, I've always enjoyed LiLo's music, I don't give a damn about her personal life.

Lindsay Lohan 'Stuck' LEAK

Meet 'Lights'

Not many ppl know about this beautiful synthpop/electropop canadian artist. LIGHTS is both a singer/songwriter, currently touring in the US promoting her debut album 'The Listening'. I find her extremely attractive **Random Thought** LOL Her music is a easily like-able i guess you can say. It gets catchier everytime you listen to it. She released 2 music videos for her second single 'ICE' (one self-made and the Official Canadian version).

Here's the Official Canadian Version

Kristinia DeBarge

Also known as the 'Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye' girl, Kristinia DeBarge rose to stardom with her first single 'Goodbye' back in 2009. She then released the songs 'Sabotage/Future Love' to see which would make the cut as the official second single. In the end, 'Sabotage' pretty much took the lead and a music video was filmed. Unfortunately, I'm guessing the song didn't obtain the same success 'Goodbye' did and it is now part of history. With her new album on the works, she expects to receive the same reception from her fans and the media as she did with her first album. I sure wish her luck, she deserves it. Artists like these don't obtain that much recognition now in days. I remember seeing her perform at Britney's 'Circus' concert tour last september. She was Amazing!!!! I really think this song should've gotten a little more attention as well as a few other 'Exposed' tracks. So here's a couple... enjoy!

Kristinia DeBarge 'Sabotage'

Kristinia DeBarge 'Died In Your Eyes'

Kristinia Debarge 'Future Love' COVER
(I posted this song before as part of the 'Varisity Fanclub Vs Kristinia DeBarge' section)

Kid Sister 'Control'

OMG, this is a must!

I remember obtaining this back in early 2008 but never giving it a listen until a few months ago. I honestly wanted to hit myself in the face, it is that good. I have so much music in my iTunes, that I don't know which is new and which is not. I need to be a bit more organized. Anyways, so like I was saying. This girl right here has mad skills. This song is just a little taste of what her album 'Ultraviolet' is all about. 'Control' was chosen as Kid Sister's first single released through iTunes back in 2007 but then taken back to be re-released in 2008. I read somewhere online that many people see her as a wannabe 'Nicki Minaj', I personally don't see any similarity. Nicki is more like a Rap & Hip-Hop kind of girl, and Kid Sister is more Electro. Wathever the situation is, they both got game to me.

Enjoy!

'Sorority Row' Soundtrack

I have to admit, the film was a bit of a disappointment for me. It was good, but not great. The cast was great, but my expectations were really high. There wasn't any originality, it was more of a typical suspense horror teen flick. What i can say though is that the film's soundtrack was brilliant. It's the type of soundtracks were i don't skip any track, they're all great! Here's a few of my favorite tracks included in the Official SDTRK.

Shwayze 'Get U Home'
(it wasn't included in the soundtrack, but It was featured in the film. The music video for this song is also based on the film.)

The Deekompressors 'Say What You Want'

Dragonette 'I Get Around'

Tiesto 'Who Wants To Be Alone'

Tiesto Feat. Nelly Furtado 'Who Wants To Be Alone'
This song brings joy to my ears everytime i play it. I randomly found it on youtube one day, and i was immediately blown away. It is off his 2009 album 'Kaleidoscope'. Nelly Furtado sounds ammmaaazzziiinnggg.! <3 I Love it.
