Introducing: Sariah!

You guys have to check this girl out. (I don't mean just her, but her music too). Ready to release her EP (coming out in 6-8 weeks btw), Sariah’s first single 'Deep N Luv' keeps climbing and breaking the charts (billboard being some of em'). I don't know what it is about this track that makes me want to play it on full blast and dance alone like crazy (haha, that's how much I enjoy it- along with the many remixes I've heard so far). Sexy vocals, unique sound, and a twisted taste of dance pop. That's how I would describe her music so far. I actually had the pleasure to interview this artist via web, got the chance to ask her some personal questions as well as her music's. Based on the answers, i can tell you the motivation and her perspective towards the music industry is going to take her far... it's pretty interesting actually, (Check it out below). Turn up the music, and expect to hear more from her soon, she'll definitely take over your pop senses. Enjoy!

This track along with many remixes is now available on iTunes.

PERSONAL...

What is your full name?

SARIAH

Where were you born?

Boston, Massachusetts.

Yes, one very loving and caring older sister.

What's the first thing you wake up to every morning?

The sound of my alarm clock telling me that the sun is up and it’s going to be a great day!

How does it feel to be living in the city that never sleeps?

It feels great, fun, overwhelming at times, and overall extremely exciting! I love exploring the city and being able to accomplish almost anything I want to at any time of the day or night! Most of the time. I don’t sleep either!

What is your personal motivation?

My personal motivation is to make a positive impact on the world by touring and making friends all over the world, I will truly do everything and anything I can to make a positive influence.

What is your motto or the advice you live by?

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." -Eleanor Roosevelt

The advice I live by is:

never let anyone tell you that it’s not possible. Make your own rules.

Ten years from now you will be...?

On tour, working with many different foundations, signing artists to my label, designing for my own clothing line, and making magical music!

MUSIC...

What do you think makes you different that any other pop artist out there?

I truly care about the music and the performance. I am not in it for the Fame, I do what I love and want to make many friends around the world who love it too!

Is music your only passion?

Music, performing, dancing, acting, the stage, and love are my passions.

When and how did you first become interested in music?

I first became interested in music when I was just a little girl. I would put on my favorite song and dance for any guest my family would have. Singing became my passion first on the stage doing Musical Theater. I was Gretyl in The Sound of Music in sixth grade and really began focusing on lessons then as well. Once I heard Mariah Carey singing her “Emotions” record, I knew that Pop was my true passion. From there, I began writing and growing as an artist and as a young lady. My experiences with love, both good and bad, became my main focus while writing.

Your single 'Deep N Luv' keeps climbing the Billboard charts, how do you feel about that?

I am so incredibly thankful. This is a dream come true and I am looking forward to it continuing to climb the charts!

What are your musical influences?

Mariah Carey’s older albums were my first musical influences. I love to listen to all genres of music, even Broadway shows as well.

How do you describe your sound/style of music?

Urban Dance Pop

Where do you draw inspiration for your music?

My inspiration for my music comes from my true life experiences with love and the nightlife.

Is there an album/EP on the works?

Absolutely!!! My EP will be coming out in 6-8 weeks and will have two other records that will keep you dancing all night!

Has the music business changed you as an artist or the way you see your music?

I have learned so much from the music business. I have learned a lot about the business side of it all and am glad that I can honestly consider myself an artist and a business woman. It is important to understand everything that is going on with your music, not just the creative aspects of it all. This music business has taught me to always be myself and be the best that I can be.

Now in days it's hard for an artist to be taken seriously for their work, how have you managed to breakthrough?

I am a consistent worker. I rather show than tell the people around me how passionate I am about what I do. This has helped me to be able to have the strong team that I do.

If i was to turn on your ipod right now, what five artists/songs would i see on your recently played list?

1. Deep N Luv

2. Getting Over You – David Guetta, Chris Willis, Fergie, LMFAO

3. Release Me – Agnes

4. Not Myself Tonight – Christina Aguilera

5. Break Your Heart – Taio Cruz ft. Ludacris

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I have always dreamed of working with Usher Raymond. I love his performances and his music has always been a favorite of mine. I would love to see how he works in the studio. I feel it would be a great learning experience and we would certainly create a hit record.

Do you think there's such a thing as to becoming famous for the wrong reasons? If so, what is your personal opinion on fame?

I choose not to judge others, thus whatever reason people have for creating their careers is up to them. I feel that searching for fame has little longevity.

Anything you want to say to your fans?

I love all of my fans so much! I would never be where I am right now if it wasn’t for their love and encouragement. I thank them for taking this exciting journey with me and I hope they continue to be in communication with me in every way they can! Triple Hearts!

What advice can you give to the aspiring artists that are trying to break into the music business?

To the aspiring artists: be yourself, always. Stay true to who you are, what your message is, and don’t give up. Keep negativity out of your circle and maintain positivity around you everyday, all day.

Sean Kingston Feat. Nicki Minaj 'Letting Go (Dutty Love)'

This track just leaked yesterday, so it's definitely something new. It will be included in Sean Kingston's third studio album. He confirmed that this song would be his next official single via Twitter. This track is called 'Letting Go (Dutty Love)' and it features the baddest bitch as we like to call her (Nicki Minaj). I agree with a few other sites when they say this song has a small resemblance with Rihanna's 'Te Amo'. The instrumental music that is. Either way, this track is hella sick.!

Michelle Branch is BACK! 'Getaway'

I am exited to pass on the news that Michelle Branch is officially back, and ready to take over what once belonged to her. (Well actually she was never gone, but she wasn’t around the pop scene either). She was more focused on the duo-group she formed ‘The Wreckers’ (which I don’t want to focus in as much btw… since I wasn’t a big fan of the project). As of right now the group has been put on hold, and Branch is ready to release her third official studio album ‘Everything Comes and Goes’ as a solo artist. With the help of the best of the best, Mr.Timbo’ (Timbaland) himself… she recorded this track - which he produced by the way (OMG it's beyond amazing), called ‘Getaway’. It hasn’t been confirmed if this will serve as the first single… it definitely should if you ask me. She’s also working with Akon for a few other tracks (in which he will feature himself) **nothing new about that LOL**. So expect great material from this upcoming record, I know I am.

btw. this song reminds me of Nelly Furtado's 'Loose' record... except a bit more up-beat don't you think? =]

Silverstein Feat. LIGHTS 'The End'

Seriously, i have this LIGHTS fever right now (i know.. weird) but anyways. This is a Canadian post-hardcore band called Silverstein. Featured in their fourth studio album 'A Shipwreck in the Sand', this track 'The End' also features Canadian electropop singer LIGHTS. the song itself is amazing. The whole album's lyrics were written as a story, i guess that's why the lyrics sound so meaningful.

Ten Second Epic feat. LIGHTS 'Every Day'

So as most of you know, i'm a big time LIGHTS fan. Well this track is called 'Everyday' by a rock band called Ten Second Epic (didn't know much about them until now... been listening to a few tracks from them - i'll get back to you on that). It features Canadian electropop singer LIGHTS, and it was featured in their 2009 album 'Hometown'. <3>

KE$HA 'Dinosaur'

Ever since I obtained the demo for this track (waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy backkkkkkkkkk), I fell in love with it. Despite what everyone thinks of Ke$ha, I enjoy listening to her music since before she took over the media with her single 'Tik Tok'. Anyways, as soon as she released the HQ STUDIO VERSION of 'Dinosaur', I couldn't stop playing it. Whether you just want to listen to it, dance to it, or use it to learn how to spell D-I-N-O-S-A-U-R-, it'll stay stuck in your head (that's guaranteed) specially the whistling part. Enjoy!

Allison Iraheta Feat. Orianthi 'Don’t Waste The Pretty'

After five months later, and a not so successful debut single 'Friday I'll Be Over You', Allison Iraheta (former American idol finalist) gives it a second shot with her official second single 'Don’t Waste The Pretty'. Except this is a Re-Recorded/Updated version featuring Orianthi (I don't know why they had to do that, the song was great alone itself) but anyways. The background instrumentals changed a bit, it's more upbeat than the original version included in Iraheta's debut album 'Just Like You'. The question now is... will there be a re-release of the album with this track included?... Anyways, this song will probably hit mainstream radio soon... it's still said TBA, I’m really hoping it does well on the charts when it does. Allison Iraheta's debut studio album is beyond extraordinary.

Taio Cruz 'Dynamite'

As expected, Taio Cruz has been breaking the charts with his music. I just love the dance pop-R&B vibe that flows in each of his songs. Anyways, this track 'Dynamite' will be released as the second official single (since 'Dirty Picture', and 'No Other One' didn't work out so well). I’m pretty sure this one is going to make it. It's already been added to the top40 stations around the states. Enjoy!

Sophia Fresh Feat. T-Pain 'This Instant' STEP UP 3D

THIS TRACK IS HOT! It is a must!
Definitely something you can get down to when you're in a party mood. It's called 'The Instant' by T-Pain's group Sophia Fresh... also featuring himself *go figure*. But yeah,it will be featured in the official STEP UP 3D Motion Picture Soundtrack.

Alex Young 'Cold'

Alex Young, a girl that is no stranger to the business describes her sound to be a mixture of pop, hip-hop, and R&B evolving into something a bit more quirky and layered. This track, ‘Cold’ served as her first single back in 2008 for her studio album ‘Amazing’. I just love the song since the first day I heard it, I jut had to show you guys… take a listen!

Alex Young 'Cold'

RBD 'Lento'

Okay, so this is a bit old. It was released before RBD (Latin Pop band for those who don't know) announced their separation. The song itself was experimentation for the group, since their style was plain pop. It was part of the 'Mas Flow: Los Benjamins' record by Luny Tunes. **Even though they just produced it** All the vocals were done by RBD. It's not that bad to be honest, it was never released as an official single so it wasn't as popular. But here I leave you with 'Lento'.

RichGirl 'He Ain't Wit' Me Now (Tho)'

RichGirl is an American girl group that are currently in the process of releasing their studio album. A few promo singles have been released, but haven't really quite gotten the attention they're aiming for, which is why their album keeps getting pushed back. 'He Ain't Wit' Me Now (Tho)' was released back in mid-2009, it was/is the official first lead single for the upcoming album which is still TBA.

I like it! Actually, one of the girls looks a bit like Beyonce; even sounds like her too. Reminds me of Destiny's Child. =S Anyways, the beginning of the song sounds a bit weird, but as soon as the beat starts, it gets crazy. Enjoy!
